ORBED

In March, we launched a Kickstarter campaign to crowdfund an animated short film based on our story 'Orbed,' which you can listen to on our homepage. We hit our target of £6000 in a week, and by the end of the campaign the project was 124% funded! 

The animation is by Cecilia Reeve, set to our magic realist story about a boy who visits the moon.   

The film was completed in September 2021. So far it has been officially selected for Close:Up San Fransisco Short Film Festival, Cannes Short Film Festival, and Birmingham Film & Television Festival, where it was a finalist in the short animation category.

As it is still being considered by a number of festivals, we are unable to share it widely right now. If you’d like to see the film, please get in touch and we can provide you with a private viewing link.
